Speaking of turning 30, I’m turning 21 in 3 weeks time. I’m so freaking excited, because in a true Jess way I placed a special order for myself, a personalised Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in pink . Specially made in Paris for ME! As per tradition, I am not doing anything big for my birthday. I hate celebrating my birthday. Mainly because I hate the organising part. To tell you the truth, I tried but the place that I wanted to have my 21st at has shut down. From then I decided screw this, to save myself from all the stress I decided to spend the weekend at the Blue Mountains and force Alan to go caving for 2 hours with me. Yep, for 2 hours I will be absailing down tight spots and clinging for my dear life on to a prehistoric cave. Can’t think up of a better way of spending my birthday. Alan has asked me what do I want for my birthday? I told him I want a GIANT jar of Gummy Bears ie.5 kg worth, but with only the Red, White and Blue Gummy Bears. So I bet you he’s going to be having the time of his life sifting through Gummy Bears. Oh and I asked for an Origami Book. I’m planning to spend my birthday on a picnic rug, being fed Fairy breads while folding Origamis.

• Ice cream – I HATE ice cream cones or ones with paddle pop stick. I get very anxious about the cone breaking or the ice cream melting all over my hand. So I always opt for the cup. I have a strange fear of things breaking/falling apart. That’s why I eat my burrito with spoon.
• Exams – The night before my exam I always place my notes under my pillow. Hoping that my brain will miraculously absorb all the knowledge.
• Cramped stores – I can’t bear to go in to a cramped store with the aisles literally right next to each other. I get this feeling where I need to shit/pee/cry. Charming.
• Sleep – every time I cuddle with Alan, I like to poke my finger in his belly button. Don’t ask me why.
• Rice – I love rice. I’m like your typical asian rice bucket x 20. I get all moody and fangry when I don’t eat rice for a day. I can eat rice with ANYTHING.
• Mint – I can’t eat anything minty, it makes me puke. Except for choc mint & my toothpaste.
• Driving – when I accelerate for too long, I have the tendency to forget where the break pedal is. fml

Okay I think that’s enough, wouldn’t want to freak you all out with my strange habits. I swear I’m not some psychopath freak

2010 flew by so quickly.
201o was a great year for me. I traveled more than I ever did, I graduated from my three years degree, found a new job, got fatter and shopped even more. As per usual I did not achieve ANY of my 2010 resolution. In a true lazy fashion I’m just going to roll over my 2010′s resolutions to 2011.

However, this year I’ve added one more – take up sewing classes. I figured I need a new hobby, since apparently shopping is not a legitimately hobby. I love clothes and I really really need to find some form of creative outlet in between my boring accounting job. Plus, I’ll save money from shopping since I will know how to make my own clothes! I’ve done my research for sewing classes around the North Shore area but my only main concern is whether  I will be able to commit myself to go every week after work. I have a commitment problem when it comes to doing things that does not  concern with uni or working. Prime example, Mandarin classes that I took up last year – I only attended 4 out of the 8 classes because I got too lazy So hopefully, I will pluck the courage soon to commit.

So what did I do to end my 2010. For Christmas I spent it laying on the beach like a whale with my family. For nye I spent the entire day baking Alan his Skyline cake. That’s right Adam and I baked the cake! It took alot of effort to shape the cake into Alan’s beloved Skyline. At night we had something small at Wiseman Ferry. We drove at full speed and I was clutching my dear life. We counted down, shared ghost stories and got bitten my freaking mozzies. Hooray!

Anyhow, hope you all had a wonder celebration welcoming the end of a decade

FML I’ve gained two freaking kilo since two weeks ago. TWO kilo is big deal for me, I’ve always been blessed with my mum’s gene of having a SUPER HIGH metabolism. My weight stays constant no matter how much I eat. I eat like a giant pig, when I’m hungry I can eat more than Alan. I’m embarrassed to admit that I have gulfed down a large double quarter pounder meal, as a bet from Alan. After 20 years I’m still amazed at how much I can eat, yet the weights do not pile on. I’m like a baby I have to be fed every 3 hours, otherwise my tummy will start to grumble like crazy. I have the softest spot for JUNK FOOD and DESSERTS. Seriously, if god hated me and cursed me with a low metabolism at the rate I eat, I would probably be MORBIDLY OBESE.

So many people are so surprised that I do not exercise. I despise any sort or form of physical activities. Heck, I would rather drive to Alan’s house that’s 5 minutes walk away than walk. I’m one of those annoying people that waits for the elevator just to go down or up one level.

I’ve heard somewhere once you are in your twenties your metabolism will start to decrease, which is one of the reason why you see a lot of fat asian aunties around. Getting fat is one of my biggest fear next to not being able to shop. I’ve have JUST turned 20 and I’m already piling weights. Let’s hope my metabolism is not plummeting to zero I DO NOT WANT TO BE FAT.

Since exercising is out of the question, I have decided to try to eat less or at least cut back on the amount of junk food I eat.

Everytime I’m about to spend money to eat I’m going to remind myself how that money could be used for a better purpose ie. SHOPPING

It feels so great to finally not having to worry about studying after 16 years. First thing I did after I have finished my last exam was to take a long long nap. Now that I don’t have uni, my weekends are not filled with studying/working. I officially have FREE weekends, where I can do absolutely anything I want. Even after work usually I have to think about my assignments etc. now once I get home I actually have free time to go out or sit in front of my TV, eating junk food.
